2006 - A Year that Was.

Okaay..this is a special end-of-the-year post.hahah.Im gonna just let the pics do most of the talking about how year 2006 has been for me.It had its ups and downs,sweet and sour memories..but well..here are just some recollections of the many MANY things that took place in my year :

College Life.
When I first started SAM in taylors on Jan 4th (i think=p) ,I was kinda lonely..not knowing anyone as chiew li had not yet joined the course.I recall how Mr tsung sat on the table and asked us to introduce ourselves one by one..our names,where we stay,our fav movies..and all.Little did i know that time that a long journey was ahead of me.Well,one day i suddenly saw adrian,my primary and sec school friend in G16.To say the least, i was shocked to see him there..but i was glad cos there was someone i at least knew and soon,chiew li joined this lil crazy class as well.As time went on,so many things took place..so many things changed.I started to mix with a group of crazy but cool hardos,learned to play foos for the first time,learn to actually let myself loose abit more..There's just so much memories,so many crazy things we've done that i cant possibly recall all of it.But all in all,college life is something that i'll always remember..and like wat kavi said,i guess i didnt even expect college life would be like that..I mean,it was stressful and hard definitely..but it was one of the best and fun-nest time of my life..one of my most cherished memories..Ive been through thick and thin,ups and downs in my 10-11 months of Sam..at times,i just broke down out of stress and pressure,wondering how long could i go on..in the middle of it,i was asking myself and perhaps even asking God if i made the right choice.I was a lil angry for all that i was going through and thought of how much easier were the lives of my other peers compared to wat i was facing..but now i realize that everything happened for a reason.And i did made the right choice.. He was always there,giving me the strength,the grace to get up again each time i fell..and at the end of the day..I could just look back and smile.Thanking God for all He's seen me through.Thank You for sustaining me through it all.

Harvest Youth

This youth has been part of my life for the past 4 years plus..So much have i learnt,experienced,all kinds of ppl i've met thru this youth.God has really changed my life thru this lil family.This year,ive seen changes in the youth.There were good times.There were bad times.but its part and parcel of life.My girls are all grown up now =) People changed.So many of things have come and pass yet one thing remains unchanged : God's love for us.And well,thank God for this lil' family of mine..its not perfect,but im reli glad that its a part of my life.Dont know how or where would i be today if He had not put me in HCA Youth.love u guys =) To add,This was the first year when HCA Youth had our own youth camps..not one but Two!

Well..i actually wanted to add more pics but blogger is driving me nuts.Will add more when i can..oh and i finally got my baskin robbins today =p hee.2006..its been a wonderful year for me.Definitely one of the most memorable year in my life..the year i gained a whole lot of new experience.the year i started driving,the year i took off the metal stuff in my mouth(haha), the year i finally turned 18 ,the year which i think i took the most photos in my life =p and well,i have no idea wat lies ahead for me..no idea wat im gonna face in the coming year.But well,He's in control =) Life is a journey..and im pretty sure theres a long journey ahead of us..Goodbye 2006.
